WW Stables was created from a vision of having a home for the breeding and training of our horses, a beautiful place to ride and providing excellent care for our equine friends. With ample acreage and adjacent to the Assiniboine Forest, there are plenty of natural trails for hiking, running, and riding.
Our horses receive the very best in attention and nutrition. WW horses are kept in extremely good flesh, and evaluated for fitness and condition. They are fed a carefully formulated diet reviewed & approved by our vets, nutritionist and trainer.
With spacious 10 x 10 stalls, private and group turnouts allow your horse to be a horse. We are devoted to the safety and happiness of our equine friends including the fundamentals of horsemanship.
Enjoy riding in the comfort of our heated indoor arena, when the weather does not cooperate. We also have a large outdoor arena for your riding pleasure.
Regardless of discipline or competitiveness, we invite you to come and check out WW Stables, as we embrace the whole horse.

Riding Lessons
WW Stables is dedicated to developing partnerships between you and your horse. We are pleased to offer year round lessons in a well established professional environment. Wendy is an accomplished coach and teaches both english and western disciplines. Our safe and reliable school horses will assist you in developing your skills as a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider.
Riders of all ages are welcome, everyone is taught basic equine principles which will allow them to specialize in the discipline of their choice when ready. Those with more experience will build on their show and horsemanship skills. Regardless of your level, you will enjoy our beautiful stables as well as our indoor and outdoor riding arenas.

Horse Training
WW Stables has a unique horse training philosophy that builds confidence and ensuring longevity. Through each stage of the training process, we look for understanding and trust, building a willing, happy, and eager partner.
Every moment you spend with your horse, you are training him, whether that is your intention or not. Your horse remembers your responses to his behavior, and if your reactions are not consistent, your horse may become confused.
Wendy’s experience provides clear, kind direction with impeccable timing. She believes communication, not domination, develops a well-trained horse. By setting up your horse for success, results will come quickly and easily. By working closely with the owner, we set well defined achievable goals by rewarding the smallest effort, or “try”.

Wendy has tried and true programs designed for the advancement of the horse and rider. Whether your goals are increasing your confidence when out riding trails or building your competitiveness in the show ring, WW Stables can develop the clinic for you. We specialize in:
- Basic and Advanced Horsemanship

- Western Pleasure, Trail, Horsemanship, Showmanship and Western Riding
- English Flat: Hunter under saddle, and Hunt seat equitation
Developing a deeper level of communication between horse and rider, enhancing maneuvers and maximizing your horse’s talents are our goals. We begin by eliminating the road blocks, then creating a path to your ultimate performance. Our Clinics are geared toward the development of the partnership between horse and rider, regardless of discipline.

Judging
Show committees can be assured of fair, honest and informed opinions with no breed bias in the show ring. Wendy’s rates are reasonable and fair. Book early, as her calendar book fills quickly.
Wendy has over 35 years of experience judging western classes. Wendy is an Equine Canada Competition Coach Specialist & Evaluator and a certified Judge, with over 35 years of successful show experience at AQHA, NRHA shows, winning championships such as:
- NRHA Open Championships, Affiliate Championships and Finals Qualifiers
- AQHA Open All Around Awards
- MQHA Open and Year-End Awards
